We are a Mauritanian agency with operational headquarters in Nouakchott, Mauritania. We also have offices in Nouadhibou and Dakar, Senegal. Our activities include Ship Agency, Freight forwarding, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, Transportation and various other marine related activities. Being the link between shipowners, charterers and stevedores, our agency department is taking care of a wide variety of ships, mainly for the offshore oil & gas sector. Our biggest strength is the individual care to each ship we attend to. No efforts are spared to follow up and secure the execution of each order or request in a quick and economic way. For Foreign companies operating temporarily in the area, we can offer supply of personnel, rendering office facilities and housing as well. Baobab was established in 2014 by Mr Mohamed Salem Lekhal with its first office in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Today, more than 5 years later, the once pioneer has turned into a well established company, proudly representing for the past 4 years Edison Chouest Offshore, one of the largest offshore vessel suppliers worldwide.
